Welcome to the Apostolic Vicariate of Bomadi. It has been task of great delight putting these pieces of information together. Indeed our Vicariate has come a long way.
Established in 1991, the Vicariate has a demographic population of over three million people, made up of several local government councils from three states (Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our faith community is just a little over twenty six thousand Catholics.
Along with the many blessings of our Vicariate we equally have several challenges as a people: culturally, geographically and financially. It is intriguing to realize that the vibrant faith of the people has made all the difference in celebrating the fortune of our life.
